2022 Awards Banquet- Nomination Request
Chamber of Commerce Members,
Please review the awards to be presented at the 2022 Butts County Chamber Awards Banquet. All nominations will be considered by the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Please submit nominations by email to info@buttschamber.com or mail to Butts County Chamber of Commerce, P. O. Box 147, Jackson, Georgia 30233 by Monday, February 21, 2022.
Please plan to purchase tickets for the event to be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at www.buttschamber.com by March 4, 2022.
All nominations shall be formatted as follows:
➢The name of the person/business/nonprofit being nominated and the award for which you are nominating that person/business/nonprofit;
➢The nominee’s 2021 activities and accomplishments, number of members participating, how the community benefited, etc.; and
➢Your name, title, and contact information.
2021 Non-Profit of the Year
This award is presented to a non-profit organization for work performed during the past year that has benefited the community and Butts County.
2021 Melinda McLarnon Shining Light Award
This award is presented to an individual that has shown commitment to making the Butts County community a better place.
2021 Employee of the Year
This award is presented to the employee who has involved himself in community activities, exemplified outstanding work ethic, and has distinguished himself in his company and within the business community.
2021 Business of the Year
This award is presented to a member of the Butts County Chamber of Commerce that has earned a reputation for integrity, community service, and has positively impacted Butts County as a place to live, work, and operate a business.
2021 Public Safety Award
This award is presented to a Butts County public safety employee who has gone above and beyond the call of duty to provide exemplary service in their area of service in 2021.
2021 Bob Ryan – _Service Above Self Award
(Sponsored by the Rotary Club)
This award is presented to an individual who passes the Rotary Club’s Four Way Test –
1. Is it the TRUTH?
2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
2021 Citizen of the Year
This award is presented to a citizen for outstanding community service that has brought distinction and honor to Butts County. The nominee must be a resident of Butts County.
2021 Butts County Chamber Hall of Fame
This award will be presented to an individual who has made significant contributions to promoting the Chamber of Commerce and community and dedicated years of service to positively impact Butts County.
