2024 Awards Banquet- Nomination Process
Please review the awards to be presented at the 2025 Butts County Chamber Awards Banquet. All nominations will be considered by the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
Please submit nominations by clicking this form to the Butts County Chamber of Commerce by Friday, February 21, 2025.
Please plan to purchase tickets for the event to be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at www.buttschamber.com by March 1, 2025.
All nominations shall be formatted as follows:
- The nomination should be typed and must include:
➢The name of the person/business/nonprofit being nominated and the award for which you are nominating that person/business/nonprofit;
➢The nominee’s 2024 activities and accomplishments, number of members participating, how the community benefited, etc.; and
➢Your name, title, and contact information including email address.
This award is presented to a non-profit organization for work performed during the past year that has benefited the community and Butts County.
2024 Employee of the Year
This award is presented to the employee who has involved himself in community activities, exemplified outstanding work ethic, and has distinguished himself in his company and within the business community.
2024 Business of the Year
This award is presented to a member of the Butts County Chamber of Commerce that has earned a reputation for integrity, community service, and has positively impacted Butts County as a place to live, work, and operate a business.
2024 Public Safety Award
This award is presented to a Butts County public safety employee who has gone above and beyond the call of duty to provide exemplary service in their area of service in 2023.
2024 Bob Ryan – Service Above Self Award
(Sponsored by the Rotary Club)
This award is presented to an individual who passes the Rotary Club’s Four Way Test –
1. Is it the TRUTH?
2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
2024 Citizen of the Year
This award is presented to a citizen for outstanding community service that has brought distinction and honor to Butts County. The nominee must be a resident of Butts County.
2024 Butts County Chamber Hall of Fame
This award will be presented to an individual who has made significant contributions to promoting the Chamber of Commerce and community and dedicated years of service to positively impact Butts County.
