Jackson-Butts County Council for the Arts Meeting
🎃The Jackson-Butts County Council for the Arts will meet on Thursday, October 12, at the Daughtry Foundation Building, 221 E. College Street in Jackson. Social time will begin at 6 pm. Hosts for the evening include Julie Collins, Cheryl and Hank Hilderbrand, and Hazel Newman. They will be providing Baked Ham, tea, and water. Members are asked to bring appetizers, wine, vegetables, salads and casseroles to complement the supper, and desserts.
🎃 Come to meet the winners of the recent Hand Fan Contest held in celebration of the 200th Anniversary of the Indian Spring Hotel. These winners are young, emerging student artists in our area who deserve to be applauded for their entries and encouraged in their artistic endeavors.
🎃 A business meeting will follow the covered dish supper and program. Please think about how you can help with our two upcoming events, The Student Art Show and Butts County Creates, both happening at The Historic Courthouse on October 21, from 10 - 4. Bring a guest along to the meeting so others can learn about the work of the Arts Council, and join in on our activities!
