Jackson-Butts County Council for the Arts Meeting Notice

The Jackson-Butts County Council for the Arts will meet on Thursday evening, February 9, at The Daughtry Foundation Building at 221 E. College Street in Jackson.  Members and guests will gather for socializing at 6 pm, followed by a business meeting and a presentation by Butts County School District Superintendent, Brent Lowe, on the progress of the plans for the new Performing Arts Center.  Members are asked to bring an appetizer or a dessert (or both!) to share.  Come join us, and learn how you, too, can become part of the network of citizens who support the local Arts!

And, you won’t want to miss our Valentine Pop-Up Art Show on February 12 from Noon to 3, at the Historic Courthouse Visitors Center in the square.  Treat your sweetie, and yourself??
