Please plan to attend the next meeting of the Arts Council on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at 6 pm, at the Daughtry Foundation Building at 221 E. College Street in Jackson.  Hosting for the evening will be Diane Glidewell and Barry Williams, Janie, Tommy and T Carmichael, and Pam Stevenson.  They will be providing roast turkey, dressing, macaroni and cheese, and tea and water.  Members are asked to bring any side vegetable dish, salad, dessert,  or an appetizer or adult beverage.  Social time will be ongoing from 6 till 6:25, followed by supper.  

No program is scheduled for the evening as there is a full business agenda.  By-Law Revisions will be presented for vote by the membership during the business meeting.  We will also hear the results of the Butts County Creates show and the Student Art Show.  Plans for another pop-up Art Show, scheduled for November 18, will be discussed along with information from the Community Research Special Committee and survey results, plus a possible upcoming event for the holiday season.  Lots to hear about, get involved with, and note on your calendars!  The community is vibrant and the Arts Council is among those adding to the excitement.  Guests are welcome to attend…Come be a part of the arts in Butts County!
